Welcome to AhoyVPN. These Terms of Service govern your use of our virtual private network (VPN) service. By subscribing to or using AhoyVPN, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
2. Service Description
AhoyVPN provides encrypted VPN services designed to enhance your online privacy and security. The Service routes your internet traffic through our secure servers, hiding your IP address and encrypting data in transit. We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including but not limited to: hacking, distributing malware, engaging in fraud, or infringing intellectual property rights. You may not attempt to circumvent our security measures, share accounts beyond the permitted simultaneous connections, or use the Service to harass others.
We reserve the right to terminate your account if we determine you have violated these rules, with no obligation to refund.
4. Subscription and Billing
AhoyVPN is a subscription‑based service. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges according to your selected plan (Monthly, Quarterly, Semi‑Annual, or Annual). Charges are processed via Stripe (fiat) or Plisio (cryptocurrency).
You may cancel at any time via your Dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; no prorated refunds are issued. You may pause your subscription for 1–3 months; pausing delays your next billing date but does not extend your subscription end date.
Prices are listed in USD. We reserve the right to adjust pricing with 30 days’ notice to current subscribers.
5. Refunds and Credits
No refunds are issued for cancelled subscriptions, partial months, or unused service. In the event of significant service downtime, we may, at our discretion, issue credits for additional days of service. Exceptions may be made only if AhoyVPN determines we have failed to deliver the Service as described.
Credits are applied to your account and may not be exchanged for cash.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AhoyVPN shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the preceding 12 months.
We do not guarantee that the Service will meet your specific requirements, be uninterrupted, or error‑free. You are responsible for your own online safety and compliance with local laws.
7. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
