Affiliate Program FAQ

How does the affiliate program work? +

Invited partners receive a unique referral link to share with their audience. When someone signs up for AhoyVPN using your link, they become your referral. You earn commission on their subscription payments for as long as they remain a customer.

Our platform tracks clicks, sign‑ups, and conversions in real‑time, giving you full visibility into your performance. You can monitor your earnings, referral details, and payment history in your affiliate dashboard, available after invitation.

What commission do affiliates earn? +

Affiliates earn a competitive commission based on net profit. Exact commission structure, including minimum guarantees, is provided upon invitation in the affiliate agreement.

Our goal is to ensure our partners are rewarded fairly for their contributions while maintaining sustainable growth for AhoyVPN.

How and when are commissions paid? +

Commissions are paid monthly, approximately 30 days after the end of each calendar month. This allows time for subscription charges to finalize and any refunds to be processed.

Payment methods:

  • Bank transfer (Stripe) – Our primary payment method. Funds are sent directly to your bank account via Stripe Connect.
  • Cryptocurrency payout – Available by special arrangement. If you prefer crypto payments, contact us at ahoyvpn@ahoyvpn.com with your name, preferred cryptocurrency, and wallet address.

Payment thresholds and exact timing will be detailed in your affiliate agreement.

What marketing materials are provided? +

Invited partners receive access to a dedicated affiliate dashboard with:

  • Branded banners and graphics in multiple sizes
  • Pre‑written email templates
  • Social‑media copy and hashtag suggestions
  • Deep‑link generator for specific landing pages
  • Real‑time performance analytics

We also provide guidance on compliance and best practices to ensure your promotions align with our brand and legal requirements.

Can I promote AhoyVPN on any platform? +

We encourage promotion across all legitimate platforms—your website, social media, email lists, podcasts, YouTube channels, etc.—provided you adhere to our affiliate guidelines.

Prohibited promotion methods include:

  • Spam (unsolicited bulk messages)
  • Misleading claims about our service
  • Promotion on sites that distribute pirated content or engage in illegal activity
  • Use of trademarked terms in paid search ads (unless explicitly authorized)

Who can join the affiliate program? +

The program is invitation‑only. We selectively invite individuals and organizations that align with our values and have a genuine audience interested in privacy and security.
